Job Description

Accounting Manager Role with a Real Estate Development Company- Anaheim, CA Direct hire opportunity 100% on-site role
Compensation:
$130K - $140K Summary Oversee the full accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with GAAP. Lead day-to-day accounting operations while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and general ledger activity. Prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and management dashboards. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners. Supervise and develop accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth. Assist leadership with financial modeling, project accounting, and ad-hoc analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
