Job Description

Operations Finance Manager | Manufacturing Company | Kern County A well-established manufacturing company in Kern County is seeking an experienced Operations Finance Manager to join their leadership team. This role will partner closely with operations and executive management to drive financial performance, improve efficiencies, and support strategic decision-making across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in the business, analyzing operational performance, and helping lead process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
Partner with plant and operations leadership to analyze financial and operational performance Prepare and review budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, labor, and production metrics Develop financial models and KPI reporting to support business decisions Analyze trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations Support annual planning and long-term forecasting initiatives Ensure accuracy of inventory accounting and standard costing processes Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, supply chain, and operations teams Assist leadership with strategic projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field 5+ years of finance/accounting experience within manufacturing, distribution, or operations-focused environments Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory processes Advanced Excel skills required EB-1628586337
