Full Job Description About Us:
We are a real estate investment firm specializing in multifamily acquisitions and asset management across the U.S. with over 20 years of operational success and a nationwide footprint.
Responsibilities :
Maintain day-to-day accounting for multiple investment entities and prepare monthly financial statements Process Accounts Payable for multiple entities Reconcile bank accounts and record/reconcile intercompany transactions Record payroll Initiate wires and ACH payments Review monthly financials for multifamily properties prepared by third party property management company to ensure compliance with GAAP principals, and propose adjusting journal entries for discrepancies Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules Prepare consolidated financial statements for real estate funds quarterly Generate investor reporting packages and track capital contributions/distributions Prepare cash flow reports and asset performance summaries Maintain calculation of asset management fees and keep track of accruals/payments Make online payments for property taxes, and LLC taxes/fees Maintain interest calculation for promissory notes Prepare quarterly financials for loan compliance Prepare draw requests CAM reconciliation Assist in budget preparation Collaborate with external CPAs for tax preparation Prepare supporting documentation for outside auditors Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
5+ years of accounting experience (at least 2 years in real estate) Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting Experience handling books for multiple LLCs/entities simultaneously Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines Analytical and critical thinking skills Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA is a plus
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
