He or she needs to ensure that the company operates within the framework of not only financial compliance regulations but also business operational compliance regulations. Responsible for directing all of the people functions of the corporation in accordance with the policies and practices of the company. Complies with all internal and external financial and business operational compliance requirements that company is subject to. Ensures the company compliant with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) for standard accounting procedures of the company. And so does with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) for group audit procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Preparation of General Ledger journal entries for the month-end close and to close the books in a timely manner.
• Understand, analyze and complete balance sheet reconciliations, including explaining and reclassifying variances.
• Analyze and explain/reclassify variances in financial statements.
• Responsible for accurate and timely accounting of company's fixed assets and monthly reconciliation of the fixed asset.
• Manage and review monthly depreciation calculation for both book and tax accounting.
• Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with GAAP and financial reporting accuracy.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Presents recommendations to management on short-and long-term financial objectives and policies.

What We Expect You to

Have:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience managing accounts receivable oraccounts payable.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role.
• Thorough knowledge of

U.S. GAAP.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with other financial systems.
