Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager to engage in daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting in Chico, CA. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a forensic mindset who can stabilize accounting processes, resolve legacy reconciliation issues, and provide guidance to junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledgerPrepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standardsCollaborate with finance and operations teams to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planningIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operationsEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
