Job Description

Financial Operations Manager Our client, a rapidly scaling technology company, is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to build and optimize finance operations in a high-growth environment.
Location:
Union City, CA. This position is on-site.
Job Description:
This role will take ownership of core financial workflows, including procure-to-pay and vendor management, while partnering cross-functionally to design scalable systems and processes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can operate both strategically and tactically, driving improvements across financial operations and systems.
Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end procure-to-pay lifecycle, including vendor onboarding, purchase orders, invoice processing, and payments Design and manage vendor onboarding processes and implement controls to ensure compliance and risk management Assess current finance operations workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement scalable process improvements Develop and track operational metrics to monitor performance and proactively address issues Lead root-cause analysis efforts to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks Own and manage corporate spend programs, including employee expenses, purchasing, and spend controls Establish policies, procedures, and controls for spend management and financial operations Design and improve the finance systems architecture to ensure tools and workflows integrate effectively Partner with technical and operational teams to translate business needs into system requirements and automation solutions Build scalable processes and documentation to support growth and operational efficiency Act as a cross-functional partner to finance, legal, procurement, and operational teams Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement across finance operations
Requirements:
Strong experience in accounts payable, procure-to-pay, or finance operations functions Experience designing or improving operational accounting processes and internal controls Background working with or implementing financial systems and process automation Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience partnering cross-functionally with both finance and non-finance stakeholders Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex processes Experience in high-growth or build-out environments preferred
