Retention Manager Are you a master of negotiation, building instant rapport and making customers feel comfortable with their decision? Do you have the unique ability to turn a "no" into a "yes"?Uncertainty into certainty? We are a growing & expanding personal lending firm with alternative debt consolidation products experiencing a major surge in demand. We are seeking a highly skilled, persuasive Retention Manager to act as a crucial "second voice" for our organization. In this role, you will be the final line of defense, connecting with clients who are considering cancellation. You won't just be saving files; you will be helping clients realize the long-term value of their financial commitment and steering them back toward success. Why This Role? Your Role Expert Client Consultation:
Proactively reach out to clients signaling intent to cancel. Use your experience to identify underlying objections and address them with empathy, authority, and financial expertise.
Negotiation & Problem-Solving:
Pivot the conversation from frustration to solutions. You will be expected to effectively communicate the long-term benefits of our services and tailor responses that resolve the client's specific pain points.
Performance Optimization:
Track and analyze your "save" rates to continually refine your pitch and strategy.
Process Development:
Work closely with the executive team to identify trends in cancellation requests and help iterate on our service offerings to reduce churn company-wide.
What We're Looking For Experience:
You bring 3-5 years of proven experience in high-stakes sales. Candidates with a background specifically in Debt Resolution or Personal Lending Sales will be prioritized for your deep understanding of financial services and client concerns.
Conflict Resolution Skills:
You remain calm under pressure and have a natural, professional tone that disarms tension and fosters trust.
Financial Literacy:
You can quickly analyze a client's financial picture and explain complex debt-related concepts in simple, accessible terms.
Goal-Oriented Mindset:
