Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for technical accounting functions for the organization. Duties for the Accounting Manager include handling revenue recognition (ASC 606), accounting, and revenue filing (10Q/k) initiatives. The Accounting Manager will also prepare consolidated financial statements, conduct technical research, month / quarter / year-end close processes, SOX compliance, cash flow and general ledger management, as well as account reconciliation. The Accounting Manager will also assist with enhancing accounting policies and procedures, help drive efficient production, and perform ad hoc reporting. The Accounting Manager will collaborate with auditors, finance, and additional personnel within the organization. Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline. Public accounting (Big 4 preferred) experience is required. CPA is a plus. At least four years of accounting experience. Must have pharmaceutical / biotech industry experience. Advanced revenue recognition (ASC 606) and SOX compliance knowledge is needed. Excellent analytical and communication skills. $125 - 140k + bonus.
