Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Department Manager to lead our accounting team with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of bookkeeping and financial management for various clients in various industries. Your expertise will drive accurate financial reporting, streamline accounting processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Technical Skills Software Proficiency:
Expert knowledge of QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), Excell, Word, Sage, etc.
Financial Reporting:
Experience helpful in preparing and analyzing Balance Sheets, Income Statements (P&L), and Cash Flow Statements.
Ledger Management:
Skilled in maintaining the General Ledger, posting journal entries, and managing accounts payable (A/P) and receivable (A/R).
Reconciliation:
Proven ability to perform bank and credit card reconciliations and other general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy.
Payroll & Taxes:
Expert knowledge of payroll processing, preparing payroll tax returns, and assisting with sales and business property tax filings and F1099s. Essential Soft Skills Meticulous Attention to

Critical for detecting errors in complex financial data.
Integrity & Confidentiality:
Handling sensitive financial information with high ethical standards.
Problem-Solving:
Identifying discrepancies and finding quick solutions regarding reconciling accounts.
Effective Communication:
Clearly explaining financial concepts, proposed adjustments, etc. to clients or management both in person and through writing.
Organization & Management:
Managing multiple accounts in various industries, managing bookkeeping staff, and meeting strict month-end or year-end deadlines.
Education Education:
High school diploma is required, with preference towards an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
