Job Description

Finance Administrator Job Description Position Summary The Finance Administrator is responsible for supporting the company's financial and administrative operations by managing payroll, certified payroll reporting, accounting records, invoicing, budgeting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with company financial procedures. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential financial information. Key Responsibilities Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with prevailing wage requirements Review employee timesheets, labor classifications, and job costing for certified payroll accuracy Ensure compliance with federal, state, and prevailing wage payroll regulations Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and storage billing management Track expenses and monitor company spending Coordinate with vendors, clients, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding billing and payments Assist with audits and financial documentation Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and financial summaries Perform general administrative and office support duties Perform additional finance, payroll, and administrative tasks as assigned by management Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred 2+ years of finance, accounting, payroll, or administrative experience Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, and financial procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines Preferred Skills Experience with certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting Knowledge of budgeting and reporting Understanding of purchase orders and billing systems Experience with ERP or financial management systems
Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
