The Finance Manager (F&I Manager) plays a pivotal role in our dealership's success by overseeing all finance and insurance activities. This position is responsible for helping customers secure financing, preparing and managing documentation, selling extended service contracts and additional protection products, and ensuring compliance with legal and dealership standards. The Finance Manager will work closely with customers and lenders to structure deals, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximize dealership profitability.Key Responsibilities:
Finance and Insurance Coordination:
Facilitate all finance and insurance activities for customers, including securing financing, preparing necessary documentation, and selling extended service contracts and additional protection products.Documentation and Compliance:
Ensure all transactions and legal documents are completed accurately and in compliance with state and federal laws and dealership policies.Customer Interaction:
Greet clients, assess their financing needs, educate them on financial options and products, and assist them in making informed decisions.Lender Relations:
Maintain strong relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.Sales Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure all sales are referred to the F&I department and that they are informed about finance and lease programs.Administrative Duties:
Process finance transactions including lender approvals and timely funding, and handle all administrative tasks in line with company policies.Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction on every transaction, promptly addressing any issues that arise.Performance Metrics:
Achieve targeted Client Satisfaction Index scores and Sales and Finance goals. Review and prepare daily and monthly reports.Compliance Adherence:
Follow all company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations (e.g., Red Flag, Risk-Based Disclosure Notices, Adverse Action Notices, FTC Safeguard Rules).Exceptional Service:
Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure all customer interactions reflect the company's values.Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a finance and insurance role within an automotive dealership is required. Demonstrated success in managing profitability and achieving customer satisfaction.Knowledge:
Familiarity with employment laws and compliance handling. Knowledge of state and federal finance regulations and dealership policies.Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to evaluate credit reports, and expertise in securing loan approvals.License:
Must possess a clean and valid driver's license.
