$85,000•$100,000 per hour Job Details•We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in the Sales industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading sales organization. The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting operations, including cash applications and cash reconciliation. Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including cash applications and cash reconciliation. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audit initiatives and monthly closings. Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls. Review financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completeness. Manage the budgeting process, including the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze financial data and provide financial advice to the management team. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations. Provide leadership and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the Sales industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including cash applications and cash reconciliation. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Exceptional leadership abilities with a capacity to engage, motivate, and inspire team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner. Proficiency in accounting software and related tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
