Job Description

Corporate Accounting Manager CooperDouglas is partnering with a well-established, multi-entity organization to hire a Corporate Accounting Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting function. This role reports into senior accounting leadership and will oversee a team while driving accuracy, consistency, and process improvement across the close and reporting cycle. Key Responsibilities Supervise staff accountants ensuring quality, timeliness, and accountability across deliverables Lead month-end and year-end close processes for assigned entities, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages Oversee intercompany activity and ensure proper accounting across multiple entities Support audit process, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external auditors Review financial statements and reporting outputs for accuracy and compliance with internal policies Partner cross-functionally with operational teams to support financial reporting and resolve accounting issues Assist in review of tax filings and audited financials in coordination with external advisors Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Analyze financial data and prepare ad hoc reporting to support leadership decision-making Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity Experience in corporate or multi-entity environments; real estate exposure is a plus Strong understanding of GAAP, close processes, and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills; experience with Yardi is a huge plus! Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Hybrid:
Rancho Cucamonga Compensation up to $145,000 + bonus
