In this pivotal role, you will act as a liaison between the buyer and lending institutions, structuring deals and offering protective aftermarket products that fit the customer's needs.
Key Responsibilities Financing & Deal Structuring:
Perform credit interviews, submit applications, and negotiate terms with lenders to secure competitive loan and lease approvals. [1]
Product Sales:
Present and sell Finance and Insurance (F&I) products, such as extended warranties, GAP insurance, and maintenance packages, by clearly explaining their benefits to customers.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all contracts, disclosures, and stips comply with local, state, and federal laws (including the Truth in Lending Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Documentation & Administration:
Verify the accuracy of all deal paperwork, title/lien information, and taxes. Coordinate directly with the accounting office to ensure fast deal funding.
Lender Relations:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and other automotive financing sources. [1, 2]
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years of automotive sales or finance.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of automotive lending practices, leasing structures, credit reports, and F&I products.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with dealership management systems like Dealertrack, RouteOne, Reynolds & Reynolds, or CDK.
Skills:
Excellent negotiation, communication, and upselling skills paired with a high standard of professional ethics.

High school diploma
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
