The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of billing, coding, accounts receivable, and financial management within healthcare. As the Revenue Cycle Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance while maximizing revenue collection. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing workflows, enhancing team performance, and maintaining high standards of financial integrity. Duties Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, including patient registration, billing, coding, claims submission, and collections. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve revenue cycle efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor key performance indicators to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions. Lead and mentor a team of financial coordinators and other staff to ensure high productivity and accuracy. Collaborate with clinical departments to ensure proper documentation for accurate coding and billing practices. Manage relationships with payers, insurance companies, and third-party vendors to facilitate timely claims processing. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement. Track performance metrics and create reports for executive leadership. Requirements Proven experience in revenue cycle management within healthcare or related sectors with a focus on financial operations. Demonstrated staff management skills and a willingness to take on responsibilities beyond the billing process are valuable assets. Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT), payer policies, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS guidelines). Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and implement data-driven improvements. Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business Administration or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPC, RAC) are preferred but not mandatory.
