$150,000•$180,000 Overview We are partnering with a growing, multi-entity organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and oversee a small, distributed team. This is a highly visible role within a lean finance organization, offering strong ownership, cross-functional exposure, and the opportunity to shape processes and mentor talent. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys developing others, and brings deep expertise in general ledger management, transactional accounting, and compliance.
Job Duties:
Own the general ledger and ensure accuracy across multiple entities Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Partner with finance leadership on technical accounting matters, including revenue and cost considerations Supervise a small team across accounts payable and accounts receivable (remote and multi-site) Account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses Oversee core accounting operations including AP, AR, and GL activities Manage sales and use tax compliance and filings Support audits and coordinate with external auditors and advisors Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings (including property tax and related requirements) Streamline workflows and strengthen internal controls Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Experience:
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
Expertise:
Strong foundation in GL accounting, compliance, and audit support
Industry Background:
Experience in manufacturing or inventory-based environments strongly preferred
Leadership:
