Job Description:

A well-established and highly respected consumer brand is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its growing corporate accounting team. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing key areas of the close process, financial reporting, leases, fixed assets, and special projects tied to ERP enhancements. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys mentoring teams, partnering cross-functionally, and driving process improvements in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, close process, reconciliations, and reporting
• Oversee lease accounting, fixed assets, and capital project accounting initiatives
• Manage and develop a small accounting team through coaching, mentorship, and performance management
• Prepare and review financial statements, variance analysis, and reporting packages
• Partner with internal departments to explain financial results and improve processes
• Support audits, compliance, internal controls, and GAAP research
• Assist with ERP enhancements, system implementations, and new reporting tools
• Play a key role in month-end and quarter-end close activities

What We're Looking For:

• Active CPA required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting foundation strongly preferred
• Prior leadership or team management experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and close processes
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Oracle ERP preferred
• Strong communicator with a collaborative, humble, team-first mindset
