Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $130,000 to $185,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead site level accounting operations, including closing processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Oversee daily financial activities such as cash management, receivables, payables coordination, and inventory tracking. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support operational and strategic planning. Partner with site leadership and cross functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision making. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal policies while improving processes where needed.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with advanced credentials. Extensive experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within manufacturing or inventory driven environments. A strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and operational accounting processes. Previous experience managing close cycles, reconciliations, and financial analysis at a business unit level. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications:
Proven leadership ability with experience collaborating across departments and influencing decisions. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to management. Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
