Soquel, CA 95073 Position Overview The Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager at Ocean Honda
  • Santa Cruz is responsible for managing all finance and insurance activities related to vehicle sales.
The role involves assisting customers in obtaining financing, preparing and reviewing legal documentation, and promoting extended service contracts and other protection products. The F&I Manager maintains compliance with legal and dealership policies to ensure smooth and timely transactions. Key Responsibilities Offer financing and insurance options to customers, thoroughly explaining aftermarket products, extended warranties, and dealership policies. Assist customers in obtaining vehicle financing through approved lenders while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Prepare and process all required legal documents related to vehicle purchases promptly and accurately. Build and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive financing rates and programs. Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure all sales are referred to the F&I department and keep them informed about finance and lease programs. Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations affecting finance and insurance transactions. Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations. Minimum of two years of finance and insurance experience preferred High school diploma or GED required Strong negotiation skills Professional appearance and dependable work ethic Ability to work independently and meet goals without close supervision Confident and outgoing personality Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers, vendors, and staff Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficient computer and internet skills Previous dealership experience required Bilingual skills (Spanish) preferred
