We are seeking an experienced Full-Cycle Accounting & Office Manager to oversee all accounting functions while managing office administration and supporting company leadership. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced transportation environment and understands trucking operations, billing, compliance, cash flow management, and financial controls. Full-cycle accounting leadership commonly includes AP/AR oversight, reconciliations, reporting, payroll coordination, compliance, and financial controls. Position Summary The Full-Cycle Accounting & Office Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations for both CCXpress and CCXchange while maintaining efficient office administration processes. This position oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll support, financial reporting, customer billing, carrier settlements, reconciliations, collections, cash management, and administrative functions. This position works directly with ownership and department managers to improve financial performance, cost management, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Management Perform full-cycle accounting activities for multiple business entities Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Process customer invoicing and transportation billing Oversee carrier settlements and brokerage payment processes Manage collections and ageing reports Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations Prepare journal entries and general ledger maintenance Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare financial statements and management reports Monitor cash flow and operating expenses Review fuel expense reporting and operational cost analysis Support budgeting and forecasting activities Coordinate annual audits and maintain accounting compliance Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records Ensure accurate recordkeeping and document retention Payroll & Compliance Process payroll and payroll-related reporting Maintain employee files and accounting-related HR documentation Coordinate benefits administration support Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company accounting policies Assist ownership with insurance reporting and audit requests Support DOT-related administrative reporting requirements Transportation & Brokerage Accounting Manage transportation customer billing accuracy Verify brokerage carrier invoices and supporting documents Monitor detention, lumper, fuel surcharge, accessorial, and settlement accuracy Work alongside operations to validate load profitability Assist management with lane profitability reporting and customer cost analysis Support TMS-related accounting processes Office Management & Administration Oversee office administration and workflow processes Maintain vendor files and office purchasing controls Coordinate office supplies, vendor relationships, and administrative systems Develop and improve accounting SOPs and office procedures Support leadership with reporting and special projects Manage filing systems and document organization Assist with internal communications and administrative support functions Qualifications Minimum 5+ years' accounting experience with full-cycle accounting responsibilities Transportation, logistics, trucking, brokerage, or supply chain industry experience Is required Extremely Detailed & tasked oriented to meet deadlines Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting Experience with accounting software and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Required Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and financial accuracy Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated with ability to work independently High attention to detail and accountability mindset Preferred Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Transportation industry accounting experience Knowledge of trucking operations, fuel programs, settlements, and transportation billing Experience managing multi-company accounting environments Experience with payroll systems and compliance reporting Benefits Competitive compensation package Weekly Pay Performance Bonus Program Growth opportunities Collaborative leadership environment Medical benefit options Retirement contribution opportunities Why Join CCX? Pay:
$68,500.00 - $70,000.00 per year
