Job Description

EP Wealth Advisors (EPWA) is a wealth management advisory firm with over $44.1 billion as of March 31, 2026, serving predominately high net worth individuals. As a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern, you will support the Finance team with financial reporting, data organization, and planning system implementation efforts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented student interested in gaining hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis, business operations, and enterprise planning tools within a growing wealth management firm. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support data validation, reconciliation, and cleanup efforts to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial and operational reporting.
  • Assist with file migration, documentation, and organization of FP&A reports, templates, and supporting materials.
  • Format and maintain financial reports, planning templates, and presentation materials.
  • Assist with the implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning, including data preparation, testing, documentation, and template review.
  • Help maintain reporting schedules, trackers, and process documentation.
  • Partner with FP&A team members to support ad hoc analysis and special projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organization, consistency, and efficiency within FP&A processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality when working with financial, operational, and sensitive business information.
  • Currently enrolled in a BA/BS program; preference given to rising juniors and seniors.
  • Preferred areas of study include Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel skills preferred; experience with financial models, pivot tables, formulas, or data validation is a plus.
  • Interest in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, reporting, or business analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet competing deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and strong sense of accountability.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and tools
