$95,000•$110,000 Base Salary About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead a high-performing accounting team and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for a growing organization. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the month-end close process, financial reporting, audit support, and the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, proven leadership experience, SAP knowledge, and a passion for driving process improvements and operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and financial reporting systems. Review and analyze financial results and provide insights to finance leadership. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Coordinate annual audit activities and ensure timely completion of audit requests. Monitor accounting operations and identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiencies. Partner with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Develop, mentor, and coach accounting team members. Establish performance goals and support the professional development of direct reports. Assist with special projects, system enhancements, and workflow improvements as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Previous accounting leadership or management experience. Experience overseeing AP, AR, and General Ledger functions. Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Experience with SAP ERP systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or equipment industry experience. Experience supporting annual audits. Budgeting and forecasting experience. Continuous improvement or process optimization experience. CPA, CMA, or other accounting certifications are a plus. What We're Looking For Proven people leader who can motivate and develop a team.
