Full Job Description Description:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the Company's worldwide revenue accounting. This role serves as a technical authority for revenue recognition across multiple revenue models, including lease-based and non-lease arrangements, and applies
U.S. GAAP
to complex global transactions. This position exercises significant independent judgment, authors and approves technical accounting conclusions, and plays a key role in global audits and cross-functional decision-making. Key Responsibilities Own global revenue accounting across multiple revenue streams, including lease-based and non-lease arrangements. Interpret and apply revenue accounting guidance, including assessing the interaction with lease accounting where revenue recognition is impacted. Review complex customer contracts to determine the appropriate accounting treatment and author and approve technical accounting memoranda supporting revenue recognition conclusions. Lead key components of the global monthly revenue close, including complex estimates, account reconciliations, journal entries, and analytical review procedures. Analyze and manage large, complex revenue datasets across multiple entities, regions, and currencies. Ensure accuracy and integrity of revenue data across enterprise systems, including NetSuite, Salesforce, Power BI, and advanced Excel models. Serve as a primary revenue accounting contact for external audits and respond to technical audit inquiries. Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable and Sales teams to ensure contract terms are properly interpreted, applied, and tracked in the ERP system. Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls, improve data quality, and streamline global revenue processes.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred). 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant revenue accounting responsibility. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with deep experience in ASC 606 and familiarity with ASC 842, including demonstrated experience evaluating guidance against customer contracts and preparing and supporting technical accounting memoranda. Advanced analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data. Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-currency, global environment.
Advanced proficiency in:
NetSuite Power BI Salesforce Advanced Excel / Microsoft 365 Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams. Exceptional attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
