Full Job Description Job Overview Job Title:
Part-Time Bookkeeper (Food Service Industry) - Hartford or Fairfield, CT We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and independent Bookkeeper to join our team. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to build financial reports, and experience with inventory auditing. ON-SITE position
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts. Prepare detailed financial reports to support business decision-making. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Audit inventories across multiple locations to ensure accuracy and cost control. Visit business locations in Hartford, Stamford, Fairfield and Oxford, CT as needed. Work independently while communicating key insights to management.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting. Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with accounting software (a plus). Background in food service or inventory auditing (preferred).
