Full Job Description Overview:
The Finance Rotational Program is a 12-month, full-time development experience designed to build the next generation of finance professionals at QXO. Through three structured rotations across Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Accounting, associates gain meaningful, hands-on exposure to the core disciplines that drive QXO's financial performance. Associates contribute to real business work from day one. You will partner closely with finance and operational leaders, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, and develop the financial acumen needed to support QXO's commercial and operational priorities. The program combines on-the-job experience, targeted development, and a capstone project that gives you increasing responsibility over time. What you will do:
: Each rotation is structured to build broad financial and business knowledge while giving you real ownership of meaningful work. Analyze financial, operational, and business performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop forecasts, reports, variance analyses, and financial models that directly inform business planning and decision-making Partner with finance and operational leaders to evaluate business performance, recommend process improvements, and support budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and month-end close activities Independently manage assigned projects, priorities, and deliverables, exercising discretion and sound judgment when evaluating data, resolving issues, and developing business recommendations Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams to support both financial and operational decisions Collaborate with teams to strengthen reporting processes, financial controls, and operational efficiency while building the foundational leadership and business partnership skills needed for a long-term career in finance Across every rotation, you will receive defined objectives, regular feedback, and direct mentorship to support your growth and performance.
What you will bring:
: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience; candidates with up to 1-2 years of relevant experience are welcome Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and independently prioritize work in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and present recommendations to business partners and leadership Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead workstreams, and collaborate cross-functionally across departments Proven ability to analyze financial and operational information and support business decisions on matters of significance Curiosity, accountability, and interest in building a long-term career in finance
Preferred Qualifications:
