Job Description

Seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee international financial activities for a growing organization in the New London County. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable reporting across global entities, supporting compliance obligations, and strengthening consistency in accounting practices. The position suits someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with regional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting support for international subsidiaries and affiliated legal entities to ensure accurate financial operations.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities for global entities, keeping reporting on schedule and aligned with corporate expectations.
  • Prepare, review, and authorize journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and entity-level financial statements.
  • Record and review revenue recognition and project-based accounting entries in accordance with established policy and reporting standards.
  • Maintain compliance with local statutory rules and internal accounting policies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate external audits, tax reporting, and other regulatory filing requirements for international operations.
  • Manage intercompany accounting, including cross-entity reconciliations and elimination entries for consolidated reporting.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and outside service partners to improve reporting accuracy and promote standardized accounting practices.
  • Contribute to corporate consolidation efforts while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and provide guidance to key stakeholders.
