Job Description Position Overview:
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will play a central role in supporting financial decision-making by delivering in-depth analysis, building models, and partnering across the business. This position is responsible for driving planning processes, assessing performance, and providing insights that influence strategic direction. The role requires a highly analytical professional who can navigate a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively to support organizational goals.

Base Salary:
$160k - $180k
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business priorities and financial targets. Develop and enhance financial models to evaluate performance, identify trends, and support long-term planning initiatives. Evaluate operating expenses, cost of goods sold, and revenue trends to provide meaningful business insights. Support financial oversight across multiple profit and loss statements. Generate and present recurring financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Collaborate with internal teams to establish budgets, track actual results, and analyze key drivers impacting performance. Work closely with business leaders across the organization to support planning, performance monitoring, and strategic initiatives. Review financial outcomes and deliver insights and recommendations to inform leadership decisions. Lead efforts to automate workflows and improve processes within the FP&A function. Identify and implement enhancements to existing processes to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Conduct ad hoc analysis and support broader initiatives focused on improving financial and operational performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred. 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance. Prior experience in an FP&A Manager role with ownership of a broad range of responsibilities. Experience managing or supporting multiple profit and loss statements. Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools. Experience working with ERP systems. Solid business acumen with an understanding of operational and financial drivers. Experience working in a high-growth environment, ideally within a mid-sized company or startup. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently and collaboratively. Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to translate complex financial data into clear insights.
