Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager Familiarity with large, tier 1 ERP systems Strong Excel skills Background overseeing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Experience with consolidations
Job Description:
Supervise and mentor AP and AR staff; review work, set priorities, provide training, and manage performance. Oversee daily AP and AR activities to ensure timely, accurate processing (vendor invoices, payments, collections, cash application). Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities: reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and account analysis. Prepare and coordinate financial consolidations for multiple entities/divisions; ensure intercompany eliminations and consistent accounting policies. Produce timely, accurate financial statements, variance analyses, and supporting schedules for management. Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes; implement best practices and automation where appropriate. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors; prepare audit schedules and respond to requests. Manage cash flow reporting, support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed. Configure and maintain accounting workflows in Epicor; partner with IT/ERP support to resolve system issues and drive system enhancements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies; support ad-hoc financial projects and cross-functional initiatives. Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
