at State of Delaware in Wilmington, Delaware, United States Job Description The position manages and coordinates the collections enforcement team for the Division of Revenue and is responsible for assigning work, assisting with judgements and garnishments, answering ACD lines, and providing guidance to staff on the topic of state law, policies, and procedures. This position supervises a team of 6-10 Fiscal Associates, addresses taxpayer concerns, and corrects account discrepancies. JOB REQUIREMENTS
for Revenue Production Supervisor Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Six months experience in tax liability determination which includes analyzing and evaluating tax records in order to determine tax liability in accordance with federal or Delaware tax laws, rules, and regulations. Six months experience in staff training. Six months experience in using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve/inquire and report on data. Knowledge of staff supervision acquired through course work, academic training, training provided through an employer, or performing as a lead worker overseeing the work of others; OR supervising staff which may include planning, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating the work of others; OR supervising through subordinate supervisors a group of professional, technical, and clerical employees.
