If so, we encourage you to apply! Rello Search Partners is recruiting for a hands on Accounting Manager to join a fast-growing management consulting firm headquartered in Clearwater, FL. Our client is looking for a strong hands on accounting professional to join the finance team and play a key role in producing accurate financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance, and providing strategic financial analysis to optimize company liquidity. The hands on Accounting Manager is a high visibility role reporting to the CFO and will manage the full-cycle accounting with a focus on precise cash flow management and forecasting, AP/AR, bi-weekly payroll, and month-end close. •This is NOT a remote opportunity. Only local candidates residing within a commutable distance to Clearwater and willing to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote will be considered for the position. •Responsibilities Lead the monthly closing process, including preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations (balance sheet and income statement). Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Perform daily cash monitoring and prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts to manage liquidity.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Oversee full-cycle AP and AR processes, ensuring timely vendor payments and collections.
Payroll Administration:
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and manage employee records, tax filings, and benefits accounting. Perform variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and assist with external audits. Assist with streamlining policies and procedures through technology enhancements and process improvements. Other duties as requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA and public accounting experience in audit highly desired 5+ years of relevant accounting; knowledge of cash flow forecasting desired Strong knowledge of US GAAP Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) MUST have exceptional organization and communication skills Experience working with 3rd party payroll companies and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, FrankCrum) Must be able and willing to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, this is NOT a fully remote opportunity Great benefits/perks to include the company closes and employees are off for the entire week of Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!
Pay:
