Manufacturing Cost Accounting Manager

Summary:

The corporate office in Fort Lauderdale for a national manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Accounting Manager. This position is responsible for leading manufacturing cost accounting with responsibilities such as analyzing manufacturing performance, labor efficiency, productivity, scrap, profitability, as well as inventory valuation, product costing, etc.

Responsibilities:

o Develop KPIs and reporting tools that improve visibility into operational and financial performance. o Serve as the finance subject matter expert for ERP systems, with emphasis on costing, inventory, and manufacturing transactions. o Lead ERP-related process improvements, system enhancements, testing, training, and implementation initiatives. o Lead, coach, and develop members of the Cost Accounting team.

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience ERP systems experience Leadership experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Strong background in inventory accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and operational finance.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in high-mix, low-volume, engineer-to-order, or project-based manufacturing environments strongly preferred. Deep experience with manufacturing ERP systems; Infor LN experience preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP and manufacturing accounting principles. Expertise in standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing financial analysis. Strong ERP, analytical, financial modeling, and Excel skills.
