Accounting Managers Assistant

Accounting Manager's Assistant Growing construction-related company seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager's Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, is highly organized, and has strong accounting administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

Heavy data entry with a high level of accuracy High volume AP data entry High volume payroll processing weekly and related reporting including Certified Payroll Reporting Manage and track certificates of insurance (COIs) Prepare and process credit applications and vendor documentation Assist with job costing and accounting record maintenance Maintain organized digital and physical files Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and internal staff Calculation & submission of Workers' Compensation premiums Other duties as directed

Qualifications:

Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping support required Strong understanding of: Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Payroll processes Certificates of Insurance (COIs) Credit applications Excellent data entry and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs and accounting software Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Construction industry experience is a plus Knowledge of Miter and Sage Intacct highly preferred and OCIP practices We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and health benefits after 90 days Stable, growing company environment Opportunity for long-term growth Supportive team atmosphere Please submit your resume and salary requirements for consideration.
