The University of Florida is looking for a Student Financial Aid Coordinator II to support and coordinate scholarship operations within the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships in the Division of Enrollment Management. In this role, you will manage scholarship data and processes, collaborate with campus partners, and support students and families as they navigate the financial aid and scholarship process. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Scholarship Administration and Compliance Manage and coordinate all aspects of scholarship data, including setup, maintenance, reconciliation, and updates. Review and process scholarship applications and related documentation. Evaluate student financial aid applications for eligibility and award decisions, ing professional judgment based on financial need, academic merit, and program eligibility. Ensure scholarship awarding and administration comply with federal, state, and university regulations. Monitor scholarship compliance requirements and support reconciliation and audit processes. Track scholarship data and contribute to required reports and documentation. Campus Collaboration Collaborate with the Financial Aid Manager to support the effective administration of scholarship programs. Serve as a primary resource for faculty, advisors, and administrative partners on scholarship processes, eligibility requirements, awarding guidelines, and timelines. Provide training and guidance to campus stakeholders on scholarship systems and procedures. Support students and parents by providing clear, accurate information regarding scholarships and the broader financial aid process. Partner with campus departments to distribute scholarship information and support outreach efforts for prospective and current students. Operational Support Contribute to the development and enhancement of scholarship administration processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery. Identify areas for improvement and recommend or implement new procedures and workflows. Work closely with the scholarship management team to ensure scholarship-related data is accurate, current, and consistently maintained. Support timely completion of reports, documentation, and internal controls related to scholarship operations. Other Duties Participate in recruitment, yield, and outreach events. Travel on occasion to attend professional development workshops, trainings, and conferences to remain current on financial aid and scholarship best practices. Deliver financial aid and scholarship presentations and represent the office at events and meetings as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Expected Salary:
