As Manager of Finance, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring our financial operations support these values while helping advance our mission of providing quality affordable housing and improving the lives of residents. What You'll Do You will lead critical financial operations that support our housing programs, capital improvements, and community investments by: Managing the Authority's day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities Leading and developing a talented finance team Ensuring compliance with HUD, GAAP, GASB, and governmental financial requirements Overseeing audits, internal controls, and grant compliance Leading annual budgeting and long-term financial planning Monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities for improvement Partnering with leaders across the organization to promote financial transparency and accountability Your work will directly contribute to PCHA's ability to responsibly steward public funds and deliver meaningful results for the residents we serve. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who combines strong financial expertise with a commitment to public service.
Successful candidates will bring:
Experience in accounting, finance, or governmental financial management Financial leadership experience in a housing authority preferred Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement The ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful business decisions Experience with public housing, governmental accounting, grants, or Yardi software is a plus Most importantly, we're seeking someone who understands that financial stewardship is essential to fulfilling our mission and serving our community.
