Job Description:
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and lead accurate and timely financial reporting. This role will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, producing internal financial reports, and strengthening accounting controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and a proven track record of technical accounting expertise. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with
U.S. GAAP
Develop and deliver internal financial reporting packages for leadership, including analysis of variances and key metrics Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, policies, and internal controls Manage and review general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and journal entries Lead the preparation of supporting schedules for audits and act as a key point of contact for external auditors Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership to support business initiatives and decision-making Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and professional development Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA strongly preferred Public accounting experience strongly preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting cycles Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems
