Accounting Manager (AEC Industry)
Salary:

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliation processes Oversee project accounting activities, including WIP reporting and revenue recognition Manage and mentor accounting staff while supporting team development Review financial results, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to leadership Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls Coordinate audit support and maintain accurate financial documentation Identify and implement process improvements and accounting efficiencies Partner with operational leaders on special projects and business initiatives Qualifications for the Accounting Manager- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities
- AEC industry experience required
- Deltek Vantagepoint experience required
- Strong understanding of project accounting, WIP reporting, and financial reporting
- Experience managing month-end close and leading accounting operations
- Proven ability to mentor staff and drive process improvements
