JOB SUMMARY
Manages the finance function at Universal Orlando Resort, including financial planning, analysis and ensuring timeliness/accuracy of financial results and reporting. The Manager, Finance must participate in financial reviews with operators and executive leadership.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct and supervise the overall applicable financial function with specific focus on respective division(s) at Universal Orlando Resort. Build short- and long-term financial plans, including pacings, forecasts and budgets. Participate in meetings with Operators and/or Executive leadership and provide support to develop/execute financial plans. Perform analysis on actual financial performance, extending findings to provide meaningful recommendations. Oversee and execute month-end financial close processes. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting of business results with variance commentary. Manage staff by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, and performance management. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of finance experience 3+ Supervisory preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
