Palm Beach Gardens, FL - On-site 5 days a week We need either an Accountant, Sr Accountant or Accounting Manager. they need to either have a CPA or be on track for a CPA OR have a Masters degree in Accounting or Finance.
Must have the following:
CPA or CPA track, 5+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, month-end close ownership, financial statement preparation, ERP experience (NetSuite preferred), team leadership (managing 2 accountants)
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations while remaining fully hands-on in core accounting functions Supervise and mentor a team of 2 accountants, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and professional growth Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through timely recording, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance Prepare and review journal entries with proper documentation and adherence to internal policies Own and oversee the monthly close process, including multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations Prepare and review monthly financial statements with a strong focus on accuracy and deadlines Conduct detailed variance analysis and present insights and recommendations to Finance Leadership Support annual audit processes, including preparation and review of audit schedules Drive improvements in accounting processes, controls, and system efficiencies Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline financial workflows and reporting Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and internal controls Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business (required) CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public or private) Prior experience managing or mentoring staff preferred (2 direct reports) Strong technical knowledge of
U.S. GAAP
Proven experience with financial statement preparation and analysis Experience with ERP systems required; NetSuite strongly preferred Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and within a team Thanks & Regards, Aman Srivastava | Lead Recruiter
