Job Description Accounting Manager Stuart, FL (On-Site) $110,000 - $140,000+ DOE + Benefits About the Role A growing multi-entity organization in the manufacturing, construction, and service industries is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing accounting staff, maintaining financial accuracy, improving processes, and supporting company growth. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger activities
- Lead and support accounting personnel while creating accountability and structure
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Support financial reporting and analysis
- Develop and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and workflows
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records
- Support multi-entity accounting operations within QuickBooks Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, or similar role
- Strong full-cycle accounting knowledge
- QuickBooks experience required
- Experience managing accounting personnel
- Month-end close experience required Preferred Experience
