Full-Time Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Program Finance Manager to support complex programs within our defense contracting portfolio. This role is responsible for full lifecycle financial management including budgeting, forecasting, EAC development, variance analysis, and compliance with government contracting requirements. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment supporting program leadership, internal stakeholders, and government customers. Key Responsibilities Lead all financial planning and analysis activities for assigned programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Develop, maintain, and present program financial forecasts, including EACs/ETCs, cash flow projections, and funding profiles. Support program managers with strategic financial insight to drive execution and meet cost, schedule, and performance goals. Prepare monthly program reviews, variance analyses, and root-cause/corrective-action reporting. Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and internal financial policies. Partner with Contracts, Supply Chain, Engineering, and PMO teams to support proposals, ROMs, and pricing strategies. Monitor and manage labor, material, and subcontract budgets; track actuals and identify cost risks and opportunities. Support audits, customer reviews, and internal surveillance activities. Provide mentoring or oversight to financial analysts, depending on program size. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, PMI) a plus. 5+ years of experience in program finance, FP&A, or government contracting finance. Strong understanding of defense contracting requirements, including FAR/DFARS and common contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ). Proficiency with financial systems such as Deltek Costpoint, SAP, or similar. Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
