Job Description
Finance Administrator Role Overview The Finance Administrator plays a critical role in the day-to-day administration, reconciliation, and processing of financial transactions. This position is responsible for ensuring that trades, fund movements, and account maintenance activities are completed with accuracy, efficiency, and full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal deadlines. Key Responsibilities 1.
Trade & Portfolio Operations Trade Reconciliation:
Review and monitor prior-day sent trades to identify, investigate, and resolve any cancellations or failed transactions.Order Execution:
Submit unsent trades to the trading platform in a timely manner.Portfolio Support:
Assist with portfolio management activities, including executing model rebalancing as directed and processing redemption liquidations for designated accounts. 2.Cash & Asset Movement Management Wire Transfers:
Initiate, verify, and process outgoing wire transfers for internal accounts.Check Processing:
Review and validate all check deposits from the previous business day for accuracy and completeness.Journaling:
Execute bulk journal entries to efficiently move funds or assets between accounts. Transfer of Assets (TOA): Coordinate and manage incoming and outgoing asset transfers between financial institutions. 3.Compliance & Risk Control Reporting:
Prepare and review Negative Balance reports, Restricted Account reports, and Standing Instruction status reports.Quality Control:
Perform routine quality control (QC) checks across platforms to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Risk Monitoring:
Monitor margin activity and related risks through the Service Center. 4.Administrative & Documentation Support Document Management:
Track, follow up, and resolve missing documentation to maintain compliant and complete account records. Required Skills & Knowledge Strong Attention toDetail:
Ability to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and potential issues.Effective Time Management:
Demonstrated ability to manage daily workflows and consistently meet strict deadlines.Operational Accuracy:
