Accounting Manager Location:
Austell, GA (Onsite)
Compensation:
$92,000 - $100,000 base + 15% bonus The Opportunity We're hiring an Accounting Manager to take ownership of a business segment responsible for approximately 50% of total company performance, specifically within a fast-moving, sales-driven line focused on electric power generators. You'll partner directly with leadership, influence decision-making, and bring structure to a complex, high-volume environment. If you enjoy stepping into ambiguity, improving processes, and making a visible impact, this role offers exactly that. What You'll Own Full financial oversight for a key business segment, including P&L and balance sheet accountability Revenue recognition strategy and execution (ASC 606) in a dynamic, transactional environment Monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Development and refinement of accounting policies, controls, and procedures Identification of inefficiencies and leadership of process improvement initiatives Cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Operations to ensure financial alignment Leadership of a growing team (starting with 1 direct report) What Success Looks Like Revenue is recognized accurately and confidently in a complex sales environment Financial reporting becomes more streamlined, scalable, and actionable Strong partnership is built between Accounting, Sales, and Operations Processes evolve from reactive to proactive and structured Your Background 6-8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Deep experience with revenue recognition (ASC 606 required) Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) Exposure to sales-driven, operational, or product-based environments Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and improve systems Why This Role Stands Out Own a business-critical revenue stream, not just a slice of accounting High visibility with leadership and real influence on outcomes Opportunity to build structure and scale processes Clear path for team growth and expanded leadership responsibility #
