Job Description
We are actively sourcing for an experienced Accounting Manager to take full ownership of the accounting and financial reporting functions for a premier, privately owned healthcare organization in West Georgia. This is a hands-on, standalone role responsible for maintaining clean books, ensuring multi-entity financial accuracy, and providing reliable, location-based reporting to support executive business decisions. As the organization scales, this position offers the long-term opportunity to grow into broader financial operations, including supervising transactional AP/AR, payroll oversight, and leading workflow automation initiatives.

BachelorsResponsibilitiesFinancial Ownership & QuickBooks Management Entity Management:
Own and manage all aspects of QuickBooks across multiple corporate entities. Data Accuracy:
Ensure all financial data is accurate, complete, and properly classified by specific clinic location, provider, and service line. Account Reconciliation:
Reconcile all corporate bank and credit card accounts. Month-End Close & Reporting Close Process:
Maintain a consistent, timely monthly close process. P&L Generation:
Generate and review monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports broken down by location. Variance Analysis:
Identify, investigate, and explain monthly changes in financial performance to the leadership team. Provider Tracking:
Support quarterly provider productivity reporting for the practice's Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Operational Oversight & System Strategy Allocation Management:
Ensure payroll and day-to-day operational expenses are properly allocated across correct service lines and locations. Leadership Advising:
Work directly with executive leadership to provide clear, reliable financial information for business decision-making. Process Improvement:
Identify manual system inefficiencies and help transition them into more streamlined, tech-savvy systems.
