$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Job Overview Our client is a solar module manufacturing company that specializes in customized production lines of US-made solar products. They are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to lead their financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Your expertise will support business development initiatives, risk management, and long-term strategic growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and financial software systems, enabling you to deliver insightful financial management that empowers decision-making at all levels. Duties Lead the preparation and interpretation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
IFRS, IAS
(International Accounting Standards), ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and other regulatory requirements. Oversee budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and cost control strategies to optimize organizational profitability and operational efficiency. Manage treasury functions, including cash flow analysis, investment management, accounts payable and receivable, and banking relationships to maintain liquidity and financial stability. Conduct risk analysis and develop risk management strategies to mitigate financial exposure across all departments. Supervise general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and month-end closing activities to uphold data integrity. Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting standards for governmental agencies or non-profit organizations as applicable. Oversee internal controls, compliance management, and audit coordination to uphold transparency and accountability in all financial activities. Provide leadership in strategic planning initiatives by analyzing financial concepts, supporting investment decisions, and guiding cost management efforts. Utilize advanced financial software for data analysis, report writing, and interpretation to facilitate informed executive decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business development projects that involve financial modeling and revenue management strategies. Experience Proven experience in senior financial management roles within corporate or nonprofit sectors. Extensive knowledge of
IFRS, IAS
standards, GAAP principles, ASC 606 revenue recognition rules, and government or non-profit accounting practices. Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, risk assessment, and strategic planning. Strong background in treasury management, including cash flow analysis and investment oversight. Experience with technical accounting issues, such as accrual accounting and compliance management. Proficiency in financial software systems for general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and financial report writing. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement. Strong communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and interpreting complex data for diverse audiences.
