Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager or Supervisor to lead and oversee key financial operations within our organization in Savannah, Georgia. Responsibilities:

• Supervise the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring entries are complete and compliant with accounting standards.
• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, providing necessary documentation and responses to auditors.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Utilize NetSuite and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and address any discrepancies.
• Develop and implement best practices for accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Requirements
• Proven experience in accounting management or supervisory roles, with a strong track record of success.
• Expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance.
• Familiarity with financial statement audits and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite and Microsoft Excel for financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively, fostering a positive work environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
