We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Senior Finance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients in securing mortgage loans, evaluating financial information, and guiding applicants through the loan approval process. The Senior Finance Manager will lead operations across our Ankeny and Ames offices, partnering closely with high-performing real estate professionals while also driving new business development and expanding external client relationships. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of mortgage products, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Key Responsibilities Assess client financial situations and recommend appropriate mortgage products Review loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness Analyze credit reports, income statements, and financial histories Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other stakeholders to facilitate loan approvals Maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions Stay up to date with market trends, interest rates, and lending regulations Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan lifecycle Qualifications 2+ Years in mortgage lending, banking, or financial services Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and compliance standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple applications and meet deadlines Preferred Skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
