Accounting Manager Job Responsibilities:

Executes the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple entities Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Ensures proper revenue recognition, accruals, and cutoff procedures in accordance with

U.S. GAAP

Maintains compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies Ensures timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including resolution of reconciling items Reviews accounting processes and recommends improvements to increase efficiency while maintaining strong internal controls Prepares and reviews financial reporting and analysis for internal management, headquarters, and external stakeholders Assists the Controller with annual audit activities, including preparation and review of audit support documentation Ensures cross‑training and adequate backup coverage within the accounting team Ensures preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for internal management, external agencies, and banking or other financial partners Assists in the annual budgeting process and related financial analysis Performs or leads other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of

U.S. GAAP

Experience supporting external audits Hands‑on ERP experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) experience preferred Inventory and cost accounting experience preferred Experience partnering with IT or ERP administrators on system configuration, testing, and controls is a plus Advanced Excel skills (reconciliations, analysis, reporting) Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization This position is based out of our Bolingbrook, IL headquarters.
