Job Description:
Accounting Manager (42707) Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations, strengthen financial processes, and support the continued success of the business. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys leading month-end close activities, improving processes, managing a team, and partnering with internal stakeholders in a collaborative environment. Offering strong leadership visibility, the opportunity to drive process improvements, team development, and meaningful impact within a growing organization!
Responsibilities:
Oversee month-end close activities including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, and balance sheet reviews Manage and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and standard operating procedures Oversee AP and AR operations, including billing, collections, and vendor processes Review and resolve accounting discrepancies while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and leadership on financial analysis, budgeting, and operational initiatives Support audit processes and coordinate with external partners as needed Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and enhanced financial controls Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while driving performance and accountability Establish and monitor KPIs to support team and operational goals
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA required 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and navigate change
