Job Description:
Robert Half is supporting a client in the downtown area on a contract Accounting Manager opportunity. Responsibilities Manage general accounting procedures for US entities, including but not limited to financial reporting, intercompany billing, fixed asset, lease, cash, and various operating expenses. Manage and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing process. Act as a point of contact for third party vendors and partners for accounts payable, expenses, etc. Review/prepare materials for auditors/tax advisors. Prepare account reconciliations, ad hoc reports, and review of consolidated financial statements. Coordinate work between accounting and other departments to ensure all monthly entries are made and in accordance with US and local GAAP. Conduct recurring meetings with department heads on spend compared to budget and flag variances. Working in NetSuite software Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related business field 7+ years' experience working for a mid-size company according to GAAP Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortability working with external vendors and senior leadership Industry experience in multi-unit hospitality or retail would be ideal NetSuite experience highly preferred Benefits available to contract professionals include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
