Job Description:
The position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of reporting across investment vehicles, ensuring consistency of capital records, and building scalable infrastructure to support continued platform expansion. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical depth combined with operational execution capability in a rapidly evolving environment. The role interfaces directly with senior finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across investment, legal, tax, and investor-facing teams. It carries significant autonomy and visibility.
Reporting line:
Senior Fund Finance Leadership. Core Responsibilities Oversee accounting and reporting for investment vehicles, including partner-level capital accounts and fund structures, in accordance with applicable accounting standards and governing agreements Manage recurring reporting cycles including periodic financial statements, investor reporting packages, capital activity statements, and distribution calculations Maintain oversight of liquidity positioning, cash management, financing arrangements, and credit facility utilization across funds Coordinate investor-facing deliverables in partnership with capital formation and investor relations functions Liaise with external service providers including auditors, tax advisors, administrators, and legal counsel to ensure accurate reporting and compliance execution Support tax reporting processes and annual audit coordination across multiple entities and structures Ensure compliance with governing documentation, allocation methodologies, and applicable regulatory requirements Review underlying investment-level reporting provided by operating partners, asset managers, and joint venture participants Develop and refine internal policies, operating procedures, and scalable systems to support platform growth Provide analytical input into structuring decisions, new vehicle formation, and capital strategy initiatives Support team development by mentoring junior finance staff and improving functional capabilities over time Qualifications & Experience Profile Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional certification strongly preferred Approximately 7+ years of progressive experience in fund finance, partnership accounting, or alternative investment operations Prior exposure to private investment structures, including closed-end and/or perpetual capital vehicles Strong understanding of partnership allocations, performance-based compensation mechanics, and carried interest frameworks Experience working with multi-jurisdictional waterfall structures (including U.S. and European frameworks) Familiarity with complex capital structures, investor allocations, and multi-entity consolidation environments Experience coordinating with external administrators and managing outsourced fund accounting relationships Prior involvement in launching or structuring new investment vehicles preferred Strong technical accounting knowledge under applicable GAAP standards Demonstrated ability to design, document, and improve operational workflows and financial systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interface at senior stakeholder level Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and high-accountability environment
